Editor’s Note: Tim Case finished the Race Across America on Friday. This is a solo bike race that had him cross the United States in less than 12 days. He left Oceanside, Calif., June 8 and reached the Annapolis, Md., finish at 7:38 a.m. Friday morning. These are Tim’s first thoughts on his ride, which were originally published on the Team Strong Heart blog. He rode for the team to raise money and awareness for Camp Odayin, which is dedicated to serving children with severe heart problems.
Here are some preliminary words, with much more to come….
Everything is sore. I imagine millions of micro tears, deep within my bones and connective tissue. My heart is slow, but pounding massively. (more…)

Editor’s Note: Tim Case has finished the Race Across America. This is a solo bike race that had him cross the United States in less than 12 days. He left Oceanside, Calif., June 8 and reached the Annapolis, Md., finish at 7:38 a.m. Friday morning. His crew has checked in with us throughout the 3,014 mile journey. Tim rode for Team Strong Heart to raise money and awareness for Camp Odayin, which is dedicated to serving children with severe heart problems.
Once again, the night was so difficult. The most difficult moment came around one in the morning. He just stopped. (more…)

Editor’s Note: Tim Case is in Maryland at last, less than a day away from finishing the Race Across America. This is a solo bike race that will have him cross the United States pedaling nearly non stop. He left Oceanside, Calif., June 8 and was just outside of Time Station No. 50, Rouzerville, Pa., at 6 p.m. Thursday. That time station is just 130 miles from the finish. His team checks in with us daily. Tim is riding for Team Strong Heart to raise money and awareness for Camp Odayin, which is dedicated to serving children with severe heart problems.
Tim is just doing so well, I had to check in one more time today. I’m just excited; Tim is typically, by this point in the day, he is soooo tired. (more…)
