The Bolder Life: Triple Salchow Style

Donate TodaySUPPORT LOCAL MEDIA-DONATE NOW!

You’re no Nancy Kerrigan. It’s okay, neither am I. But every once in a while I still like to bust out my pretty white ice skates and pretend I am. The outcome usually involves a lot of Tylenol, icing and band-aids, but that’s all part of the fun!

The Boulder County/North Denver Metro region happens to be home to a lot of different ice skating rinks on which you can practice your axel jumps and your camel spins. (I might have googled “ice skating terms” for this post…)

Grab some cocoa, some string to tie padded pillows around your butt and elbows, and check out these local ice skating rinks.

P.S.- Did you know that you can burn over 300 calories in one hour of ice skating? I’m just saying. Great workout. Fun winter sport. Great place to take the kids and still friendly on your wallet.

Check it out.
