KIND hands out happiness in Denver

Tomorrow is national Random Acts of Kindness Day. Of course, it’s much easier to celebrate than Valentine’s Day or Christmas. Celebrating can be as simple as channeling your inner Wally Cleaver and picking litter up off of the ground or helping an elderly lady cross the street. Or, taking it up a notch, pay for a family’s dinner or hide a small amount of money for a stranger to find. You can even be a bit of rebel and put money in an expired parking meter, but just make sure the meter patrol isn’t around. T

The minds behind KIND snacks are celebrating the day by hitting the road and showing everyone a little kindness. They will be performing 24 acts of kindness, from small to big throughout Denver. Here is a list of the bigger events happenings throughout the day.

9:30-10 a.m. Deliver bike helmets to Wish for Wheels in Greenwood Village
11-11:30 a.m. Deliver a jeep full of dog/cat food and animal toys to the dumb friends league
11:45 a.m. Donate old books/magazines to Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Hospital
12-1 p.m. Deliver KIND to post office, and firehouses throughout Denver
1-3 p.m. Deliver hand sanitizers to East High School for school classrooms
1-3 p.m. Purchase coffee for the person in line behind you at Starbucks (three various locations)
1-3 p.m. Brush snow from cars at Whole Foods Parking Lot and around town
1-3 p.m. Donate gently used clothing to Goodwill
3-5 p.m. Deliver KIND bars to a construction crew downtown
3-5 p.m. Deliver KIND to local restaurants for the kitchen staff to enjoy
3-5 p.m. Door deliveries of bars within apartment complex
