Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver man Slash plays with Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators at the Fillmore in October, so we had a (very) brief chat.G

Yellow Scene: We’re looking forward to having you back – who is in your band now, and is it a settled lineup?

Slash: It’s the same line up that we had the last time we were in Denver: Todd Kerns, Myles Kennedy, BrentFitz, and Frank Sidoris.

YS: World on Fire is awesome – have you been happy with the response from fans and critics?

S: I’ve been happy with the response to the record from the fans! I haven’t really paid much attention to the reviews, although I’m been told they’ve been good.

YS: Do you like playing Colorado?

S: Lots of great memories in Colorado! I love playing in Colorado, it’s one of the great US Rock N’ Roll destinations.

YS: What can we expect from the set?

S: It’s going to be a great show with a lot of new material since the last time we played there. Expect a high-energy set!

Slash plays on Friday, October 16 at the Fillmore; 1510 Clarkston St., Denver; 303-837-0360; tickets start at $38.
