If you haven’t heard, Hush is a “secret” supper club, taking dining outside the restaurant and pairing four-star dining from up and coming chefs with outrageous locations—previous dinners have taken place in an exotic car museum, on the roof of the art museum, and as of last night, on the grounds of Colorado’s Best Beef’s ranch.

Slice, a division of the foodie blog Serious Eats, took on Colorado this weekend trying to determine the best pies in the state. Their picks include Two Fisted Marios, Marcos Coal Fired Pizza, Beau Jo’s and City ‘O City.

Too often when searching for a restaurant, we come upon costly, pretentious places serving complicated food. Any more, the mentality is that you must spend a substantial amount of money for an enjoyable meal, but I’m tired of this, and more importantly, my wallet is tired. Recently, on a whim, a friend and I decided to try out You & Mee Noodle House on the Hill.

We got a selection of desserts from Gindi Cafe in Boulder this afternoon and by far my favorite was the mini Nutella cheesecake tart. The thick layer of cheesecake-flavored custard floating over a dense chocolate and hazelnut filling was so rich, you don’t need more than a mini to be completely satisfied!
