Derek Fuller as Edward Van Halen recreates Edward’s classic guitar tone, playing every riff and solo with as much fury and technique as Edward himself, while capturing all of the enthusiasm and flash of Eddie’s engaging live personality.

Andy Catt as Michael Anthony looks strikingly like Michael and supplies the low-end bass groove, high-end energy, and most importantly the high harmony backing vocals, which is essential in delivering the quintessential signature sound of Van Halen.

Michael Thompson as Alex Van Halen behind his enormous circa 1981 18-piece double-barreled bass drum Ludwig kit delivers the thunderous rhythms and heavy artillery with all the enthusiasm, energy and ear-to-ear grin that Alex brought to Van Halen.

Dine Out for Wildlife at Grey Rock Sports Grill July 16. Stop in to catch a game on one of the many big screen TVs, play a round or two of pool, and enjoy south Fort Collin’s tastiest pub food. A portion of proceeds from the night will benefit the patients at Greenwood.

When a young animal can’t be reunited with its natural caretakers, Greenwood is happy to take on the role, and raise the little ones for their eventual release back into the wild.

We are often asked how thousands of animals are able to come to us in their time of need. Our answer is a simple one. People from across Colorado who are glad to assist a critter will do incredible things to get them into our care. They’ll even spend hours helping an orphan find its family again through the reunite process.

There are plentiful examples of folks going above and beyond for their temporary wild wards. Such was the case with these young American Robins, who tumbled from the nest after a hail storm. The rescuer was advised to warm them before attempting to reunite them with their mother, and even tucked them in with a heated packet in their makeshift nest. Luckily, the mother returned for her nestlings, and yet another group of little birds were helped thanks to a caring wildlife lover willing to put in the work.

Hunter & The Gatherers return to Dazzle with an exciting tribute to modern pop music. Putting a jazz-inspired spin on songs from artists, like Lady Gaga, alongside favorites from the Golden Age of Musical Theatre, as well as jazz-pop fusion groups, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The show centers around the question: “How has jazz shaped pop music, and how can it continue to?” By blending improvisation, new arrangements, and music from across different eras and genres, Hunter & The Gatherers create a set that highlights the crossover between jazz and popular music in a fresh and exciting way.

From the Golden Age of musical theatre, “Old Devil Moon” from the 1947 musical ‘Finian’s Rainbow’ originated in a Broadway musical. Artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Chet Baker later recorded the tune, making it a great example of a crossover between popular music and jazz.

In addition to Lady Gaga, the jazz / pop fusion portion of the set covers songs by Lake Street Dive and Sammy & the Friends. Both groups incorporate jazz and soul influences into modern pop songwriting, which supports the overall theme of the show, exploring the ways jazz can influence and intersect with popular music.

Bandleader Hunter Gammel’s musical journey has been marked not only by his extraordinary talent but also by his remarkable resilience. Born with cerebral palsy, a condition that affects movement and muscle coordination, Hunter has faced challenges that might have deterred others from pursuing an instrument like the piano.

Yet, fueled by his passion for music, he has defied expectations and surpassed limitations, using the piano as a vehicle for self-expression and empowerment. As an active member of the Denver music scene, Hunter is known for his versatility and dynamic performances. Hunter graduated from the University of Colorado Denver, with a B.S. in Music Performance in 2025.

More than 2,000 blooming lavender plants set the scene for Lavender Festival at Denver Botanic Gardens’ Chatfield Farms location in Littleton. The two-day summer event invites visitors to stroll through fragrant rows of lavender while enjoying food, beverages, artisan booths, live music and children’s activities. This year’s event is Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Advance tickets are required.

Admission includes:

• Access to the 1.5-acre lavender garden that features 19 different varieties.
• Dye garden tours with information about dye plants, weaving and spinning demonstrations
• Artists presenting and creating during the festival
• Hands-on paint-by-numbers style murals
• Entertainment by local Colorado bands performing in our newly opened Market Square bandstand.
• Barrel train rides, lawn games and kids craft area
• Access to Chatfield Farms’ historic homestead, trails and curated gardens

Other things to know:

• Tickets are $7 – $17, children 2 and under are free and must be purchased in advance.
• Gardens members save $4 on tickets.
• Group pricing is not available for special events.
• The last entry is at 4 p.m. The event ends at 5 p.m.
• The event is rain or shine; in the case of severe weather, guests will be asked to temporarily seek indoor shelter or go to their vehicles.

We are very pleased to welcome Mr. David Bragdon, founder of Hudson Skykomish, LLC., as our keynote speaker.

Mr. Bragdon has had an impressive career spanning multiple modes of transportation and public policy. He currently advises companies and agencies in the public transit sector, with a focus on planning and policy. Previously, he served for eight years as President of the Metro Council, the elected regional government in Portland, Oregon, responsible for transportation and land?use planning for 1.3 million residents. His public sector experience also includes directing New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Office of Long?term Planning and Sustainability. As the first Executive Director of TransitCenter, he shaped the organization’s mission and strategy, growing it over ten years into a nationally influential force for research and community?based advocacy to improve urban transit.

Welcome to Sober Night Live – a monthly open mic event where creativity and sobriety meet! Whether you’re new to performing without substances or a seasoned sober artist, this is your judgment-free zone to share your talents and connect with others on a similar journey.

What to Expect: Each evening kicks off with a special guest who’ll share a story and performance, followed by an open mic where YOU can take the stage. Share a song, poem, reading, comedy routine, or other creative performance in a supportive environment that celebrates your artistry.

Why Sober Night Live? Sobriety can feel isolating for creatives. You might wonder: “Will I find sober friends? Will I be able to perform while sober?” This event answers both with a resounding YES. Come as a performer or supporter—everyone has a place here.
