With a sound they’ve dubbed “Acid Cow Punk,” a gritty fusion of psychedelia, surf, punk, and outlaw country, The Dirty Turkeys deliver a raw, unfiltered take on psychedelic rock. Formed in the fall of 2022, the band emerged from Boulder, Colorado’s basement jam scenes, carving out a sound rooted in late-night sessions between friends. What began as informal jams has evolved into a high-octane touring act headlining stages across the U.S. Consisting of childhood friends Sam Baker and Ty Tullar and brothers Brad and Russ Hansen, the band thrives on deep-rooted chemistry.

In the spring of 2025, The Dirty Turkeys rolled out their debut album Cowboy Caravan, a wild and genre-bending showcase of their sound. They were soon named “Denver’s Best Acid Rock Band” and made the list of “Must See Rock Bands of 2025”.

Drawing inspiration from icons like The Velvet Underground, The Doors, Dick Dale, and The Stooges, The Dirty Turkeys have built a reputation for delivering high-energy, immersive live performances that feel both timeless and on the edge of something new.

The band just finished recording their sophomore album Soul Sugar – set to be released in September 2026.
