In 2022, you were part of the Heroes Series. In 2024, you will be the cover every single month!

We are seeking local artists who would like to be featured in YS magazine as both the cover and a feature story throughout 2024.

Whether your brush is with paint, clay, stone, wood, a lens (or even fruit stickers), we want to hear from you!

Open to: artists, documentarians, photographers, architects, and anyone who creates art.

There are 12 covers throughout the year, and topics will range from: Best of BOCO, Kids, Environment, Transportation, Technology, Summer, Education, Dining Out, Voting, Working, Homelife, the Holidays, Aging, and Health

Our selection criteria will be based on:

• How well does your art make a GREAT cover? (videographers we would need some stills)
• How do you reflect the people and cultures that live here?
• Does your piece make a statement or is it just really pretty and we should consider it? (both are okay, but we tend to lean into art that makes a statement)
• Are you available for an interview?
• MUST RESIDE in Boulder County or the North Metro Region

Submit your samples and bio as well as your website and phone number in this form. The first one up will be February’s Best of the West issue, so we will be choosing that by January 10th.
