Bands on the Bricks: SEMPAR on Pearl St. Mall

SEMPAR is a Cheese Rock band that incorporates indie/ alt rock into a warm gooey nostalgic flavor. Drawing inspiration from Weezer, The Chats, Skegss, and other Alt rock/ Punk rock bands, the band has a uniquely familiar 90’s sound fueled with angst. The 3 piece band made up of Parker Semerad (Guitar/Vocals), Burke Parent (Bass), and Philip Bernard (Drums) have been playing together since 2023 and captivate a fun, light-hearted, energetic feel when performing live.

From rock to reggae and everything in between, Bands on the Bricks is Boulder County’s premier outdoor summer concert series taking place in the heart of the city on the bricks of the one-and-only Pearl Street Mall. A not-to-be-missed summer tradition, our 2026 season includes 8 weeks of free concerts. Enjoy performances from the best local musicians along the front range while dancing under the stars.

The beer garden opens at 5:30 pm with the opening band starting at 6:00 pm.  The headlining band plays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Happy Hour goes from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM and features $2 off any beverage of choice.

This year’s series also joins a statewide celebration as part of Colorado’s America 250 – Colorado 150 initiative through the Colorado Passport Program’s Live Music Pass, presented by the Colorado Tourism Office. Attendees who check in at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center during event hours can redeem one free canned cocktail, glass of wine, or non-alcoholic beverage (restrictions apply).
