Denver Days is back! From July 31–August 9, 2026, neighbors across the city will come together for two full weekends of block parties, park picnics, and community celebrations. It’s the perfect chance to meet new neighbors, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate what makes your neighborhood special.
Denver Days is a week-long celebration of our Vibrant Denver where neighbors, families, friends, and peers can host a residential block party or a park picnic with permit fees waived for eligible gatherings.
If you need a permit from the Office of Special Events, this does NOT qualify as a Denver Days gathering. Please visit Office of Special Events Permit to learn about the Special Events Guidelines and Application Process.
Picnics cannot have large sound systems, bands, food trucks, alcohol (for sale or service), open flame, generators over 5kw, or propane, and other similar features. Picnic attendees may consume their own beer, wine, or champagne. The picnic activities must stay within the boundaries linked on the site maps on the inventory list(PDF, 265KB).
