Drop into the Teen Space between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. to have a hands-on experience that blends art, mindfulness, and self expression hosted by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). NAMI Creative Minds offers teens a creative and personal way to reflect, express themselves, and build self-awareness.
Schedule
- 1:30-3 p.m. – Pause Pouches: A small kit of items that connect teens to their five senses. These pouches can help teens calm down or reset when life feels overwhelming.
- 3-4:30 p.m. – Write Your Feels: A creative writing activity that allows teens to express emotions, even the ones that are hard to say out loud, and helps them see how putting feelings into words can be a powerful tool for coping and feeling understood.
