Event Details

Join us for painting on Coyote Run with great gulley views, a bridge, and a charismatic cottonwood to put to canvas!

Coyote Run preserves a series of gullies on the east side of the Davidson Mesa geological feature. This time we’ll be visiting the north side of the property, with great gulley views, a bridge, and a charismatic cottonwood to put to canvas! Please note: we are not providing any formal instruction, but this is a great way to meet other painters and share tips.

Participants should park along W. Lafayette St. near N. Franklin Ct. or along Ridgeview Dr. just south of South Boulder Road.

Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Please do not bring dogs to this event.

Join our free program by registering today! If you can’t make it, kindly cancel your reservation to give others the opportunity to participate in the program. We look forward to having you join us!

Organizer

City of Louisville Open Spaces

The City owns or has an interest in approximately 2,000 acres of open lands that serve a wide variety of values. These lands provide recreational opportunities for residents and visitors, support diverse wildlife and plant communities, and create visual buffers between Louisville and neighboring municipalities. The City's trail system links Open Spaces to residential neighborhoods and commercial areas for ready access to outdoor recreation opportunities. Another important goal of the Open Space Division is to preserve Louisville's agricultural backdrop by maintaining private farming in more rural areas.
