Broken Bone Bathtub: The Documentary at Boulder Public Library

In this love letter to independent artists everywhere, we follow solo performer Siobhán O’Loughlin in the final stretch of a years-long immersive performance art tour in other people’s bathtubs. As the world’s capacity to deeply connect becomes increasingly compromised, Siobhán’s journey inspires audiences to seek out live experiences that bring us together.

When doors open at 6 p.m., guests are invited to experience “The Last Resort,” a sensory relaxation pop-up experience designed by guest artist James Lopez to allow people a brief interlude to relax, enjoy themselves and find community in a soft shared experience. There will also be an opportunity to take photos with Siobhán in the garden during this time.

At 7 p.m., the screening of Broken Bone Bathtub: The Documentary begins.

Following the film, there will be a talkback with the artist, Siobhán O’Loughlin, led by James Lopez from 8:45 – 9:30 p.m.
