The Boulder Chamber Orchestra (BCO) is thrilled to announce the upcoming “L’estro Armonico” concert, a celebration of Baroque masterpieces by Vivaldi and Pergolesi, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in the beautiful sanctuary of the Boulder Adventist Church. This special program will feature guest artist and violinist Zachary Carrettin, Music Director of the Boulder Bach Festival, in a performance of four concerti from Antonio Vivaldi’s monumental L’estro Armonico, Op. 3. The selections will include concertos for solo violin as well as collaborative pieces with musicians from across the orchestra, culminating in the beloved Concerto in B Minor for 4 Violins—a rare and thrilling experience for audiences. Additionally, BCO is excited to present Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with Grammy-nominated soprano Jennifer Ellis Kampani and Colorado’s own mezzo-soprano Gabrielle Razafinjatovo. This performance will highlight the gems of the Italian Baroque repertoire, brought to life in collaboration with internationally acclaimed guest artists.
