Step into a world where seasons spiral and natural elements dance together in Susan McNeff Skokan’s immersive installation “Swirlings.” Through handcrafted lanterns, felted tapestries and mixed media pieces incorporating natural materials, McNeff explores humanity’s deep connection to nature’s cycles.

Drawing inspiration from her travels as well as home, the artist weaves together painting, sculpture, fiber art and found natural objects to create a contemplative space that celebrates the rhythm of seasons and lunar cycles. Visitors are invited to journey through this unique installation that flows clockwise through the seasons, encouraging reflection on their own spiral through nature’s patterns.

Opening reception Friday January 24th 5-9 PM. Special events include live harp music (Jan 25th ), 40 West Arts District Wide First Friday Festivities in February (Feb 7th ) and a Healing Sound Immersion (Feb 5 th ) .
