The 5280 Jazz Orchestra is Denver’s hottest new big band, igniting the scene with electrifying energy and top-tier musicianship! Founded by CSU alum Jack Derbique and MSU Denver’s own Tyler Treadway, this powerhouse ensemble was born from their passion for big band jazz and a desire to bring it roaring back to life.

Their setlist is a thrilling blend of the best in large ensemble jazz, from the timeless grooves of Count Basie and Thad Jones to the cutting-edge sounds of Snarky Puppy and original arrangements by their own band members. Featuring a stellar lineup of both rising Denver talents and seasoned pros, the 5280 Jazz Orchestra is here to shake up the Mile High City with bold, high-energy performances.
