Event Details

Concerts are free, no reservations needed! Members receive priority seating at 6 pm; general public at 6:30 pm.

Foggy Mountain Spaceship lands in our courtyard to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moment U.S. astronauts, including Longmont’s own Vance Brand, and Soviet cosmonauts met in space at the height of the Cold War and shook hands. Featuring Chris Elliott on banjo, Chris Sheldon on the Banjotron Acoustikit 2000™, and Kyle Ussery on bass, Foggy Mountain Spaceship plays original compositions, unexpected covers, psychedelic instrumentals and more.

Join us for our first Summer Concert Series in our brand new, transformed Stewart Family Courtyard. Stretch out and enjoy some tunes from up-and-coming local bands and icons of Colorado’s music scene as the sun sets over Longs Peak. Lawn chairs and picnics are welcome, kids and families, too! Food and drink available for purchase (no outside alcohol allowed).

Longmont Museum

Longmont is a diverse, multicultural and receptive city, one in which it’s easy for people to make connections and to thrive as part of the community. As home to many customs and cultures, it’s easy for residents and visitors to find fellowship with others of similar backgrounds and to explore and join in traditions that are new or foreign. The many nonprofit, civic and cultural organizations of Longmont welcome new people to become involved, and there is opportunity to find others with whom to share almost any interest. Not only do “you belong in Longmont” if you’re looking for a welcoming hometown or business location, but “when you’re in Longmont, you belong.”
