Matter Over Mind: Art, Science, and Radical Experimentation

Join us at the Dairy Arts Center for Matter Over Mind, an exciting exhibition that redefines the boundaries between art, science, and radical material experimentation. Opening July 11, 2025, this multidisciplinary showcase explores how physical matter can shape knowledge, invention, and perception.

Created in partnership with the University of Colorado Boulder’s ATLAS Institute, Matter Over Mind features boundary-pushing artists and researchers working with emergent materials, nonhuman intelligence, wearable tech, and more. From smart tattoo inks to slime mold as collaborator, this exhibition challenges audiences to reconsider the roles of intuition, experimentation, and material in shaping discovery.
