About the Show:

This is a Grateful Dead tribute band with a bluegrass twist! Pickin’ On The Dead brings the Dead’s iconic catalog to life through acoustic instrumentation and has become a favorite at WinterWonderGrass Festival and the RiverWonderGrass series at Dinosaur National Monument.

The band features:

• Tyler Grant (National Flatpicking Champion) on guitar
• Ace Engfer on bass
• Sean ‘Magic’ Macaulay on drums
• Michael Kirkpatrick on mandolin
• Bill McKay on keyboard

The group shares lead and harmony vocals and is known for diving into improvised jams and extended grooves that capture the spirit of the Grateful Dead while bringing a fresh Rocky Mountain bluegrass energy.
