Boulder Bookstore presents the inaugural Reading Retreat at Colorado Chautauqua, February 27-March 1, 2026. This immersive literary weekend brings together book lovers, authors, publishers, and booksellers for three days of book discussions, gourmet meals, and unforgettable experiences beneath Boulder’s iconic Flatirons. Meet authors Laura Pritchett and Ramona Ausubel in intimate book club conversations, attend a live taping of the Boulder Bookstore KGNU Radio Book Club featuring author Thea Weiss, and enjoy a welcome reception with publishing industry professionals. The retreat includes two nights at historic Chautauqua, breakfast and brunch, dinner at Boulder’s renowned Dushanbe Tea House, three books mailed in advance, and transportation to Pearl Street Mall.
