Event Details
Join the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Denver “Marade,” (march + parade), the only one of its kind in the nation.
- 10:00 a.m.
- Opening Ceremony at City Park (Food trucks available)
- 11:45 a.m.
- Marade Step-Off at City Park (at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. statue)
- Marade Route
- March from City Park down Colfax Ave. to end at the Colorado State Capitol
The Denver Marade is organized by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Colorado Holiday Commission, a volunteer-run, donor-funded organization. This event is designed to celebrate and honor the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. since 1986. Please join us as we honor Dr. King’s legacy that lives on during this federal and state holiday of celebration and service.
