About This Event

BMoCA presents Be Here Now Workshop, a playful and therapeutic improvisational creativity workshop, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 6:30–8:00 PM at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art.

Hosted by Home Safe Projects in partnership with TAD Projects and BMoCA, this workshop invites creatives and self-described “non-creatives” alike to explore presence, curiosity, and creative freedom through improvisational scenarios and a “Yes, and” mindset.

Using warm-ups, guided exercises, and group interaction, participants will practice stepping out of creative pressure and productivity expectations to reconnect with creativity as a transformational, time-free process. The session encourages experimentation, laughter, and shared vulnerability—helping participants move through creative blocks, fog, and frustration while energizing their personal practice.

Led by artist and creative facilitator Rebecca Peebles, the workshop emphasizes creativity as a tool for emotional resilience, connection, and self-understanding. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to show up and be present.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Workshop begins at 6:30 PM.
Cash bar and light snacks will be available.
