Eureka Presents: The Orchestrator & Gio Bard Zero

Musical Style: BossaNova, Jazz Fusion

Fresh off his sold-out October performance at Dazzle, The Orchestrator returns on January 30th with an entirely new set—an intimate, vibrant fusion of jazz, soul, and modern improvisation. After the overwhelming response to his last appearance, which reached sold-out status a full week in advance, we’re bringing him back as a testament to the high demand for his magnetic, multi-instrumental artistry.

A Guinness World Record–holding musician and two-time Westword “Best of Denver” award winner, The Orchestrator has become one of Denver’s most dynamic creative forces, blending saxophone, guitar, piano, vocals, and live looping into a signature sound that is as captivating as it is innovative.

With momentum building across the city—and a rapidly growing community drawn to his genre-bending performances—this January 30th evening promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Singer-songwriter, Classical and Jazz pianist, and accomplished Latin guitarist, Gio has played at venues like the Denver Performing Arts Complex, Dazzle Jazz Lounge, and Newman Center for the Performing Arts, and continues captivating audiences across Colorado.

The WIZARD character first took shape outside of the (now closed) Room of Lost Things, an eclectic oddities shop on the Santa Fe Arts district. Gio was paid to be a musical wizard, dressed in a costume made by the store owners and hurling musical ditties at the passerby to get them into the store. The character stuck. As Gio became increasingly inspired by the songwriters in the Denver local music community, he began writing eclectic, sometimes esoteric folk tunes (inspired as much by traditional Eastern European folk as American indie folk, with elements of Latin and Bluegrass music mixed in). This eventually gave birth to the “Songs of Life and Death” album and immersive performance concept, which premiered at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

Where will the Wizard go next?
