Celebrating the Life & Music of Paa Kow: A Benefit Concert takes place Saturday, March 8, 2026, at 7:30 PM at Fox Theatre in Boulder. This memorial concert honors Ghanaian master drummer, composer, and bandleader Paa Kow, a beloved figure in Afro-Jazz and global music whose rhythms connected traditions from Ghana to Colorado and beyond. The evening brings together Paa Kow’s close collaborators and the community he built through music, featuring members of Paa Kow’s Afro-Fusion Orchestra, Selasee & the Fafa Family, Zivanai Masango & Zimbira, and Logo Ligi Cultural Group. This powerful celebration showcases the joy, generosity, and unmistakable groove that defined Paa Kow’s legacy while inspiring countless musicians and audiences throughout his career. Tickets are available as donation levels ($20, $50, $100) with 100% of proceeds supporting Paa Kow’s family and children. Every contribution helps sustain his legacy and support those he loved most. All ages welcome (under 16 with adult). Doors open at 7:00 PM.
