About This Event

MAD LIBrarians returns to The Savoy in Denver on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:30 PM for FREE improvised children’s theatre. This interactive storytelling show features Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company’s (BETC) top improvisers creating spontaneous, hilarious stories based on book titles invented by kids in the audience. Professional performers, including Margarita Archilla, Sheevani Desai, Asa Erlendson, Adrian Holguin, Brian Kusic, Archer Rosenkrantz, Jean Schuman, Mitchell Slevc, and Nanna Thompso,n bring children’s creative ideas to life through theatrical improvisation. Each performance is unique and unrepeatable. Free craft activity starts at 1:30 PM. First-come, first-served seating for 25-30 audience members. No ticket reservations needed. Pay-what-you-can donations welcome to support the show and artists. Perfect Saturday afternoon family entertainment in Denver. Birthday party packages available for $95, plus a suggested $ 5 donation per attendee, including a performance, improv workshop, and party space. Watch your children’s imaginations spark on stage.
