About This Event

MAD LIBrarians brings improvised storytelling to the Family Learning Center in Boulder on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 1:30 PM for FREE interactive children’s theatre. Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC) presents professional Colorado improvisers creating spontaneous, hilarious stories based on book titles made up by kids in the audience. This one-of-a-kind show features veteran performers, including Margarita Archilla, Sheevani Desai, Asa Erlendson, Adrian Holguin, Brian Kusic, Archer Rosenkrantz, Jean Schuman, Mitchell Slevc, and Nanna Thompson, bringing children’s creative ideas to life on stage. Watch young audience members light up as their imaginations become theatre. Free craft activity starts at 1:30 PM. First-come, first-served seating with a capacity of 25-30. No ticket reservations required. Pay-what-you-can donations support the artists and the show. Perfect Saturday afternoon, Boulder family entertainment. Birthday party packages available for $95 plus a suggested $5/attendee donation, including show, improv workshop, and celebration space. Each performance is completely unique and never repeated.
