About This Event

MAD LIBrarians perform at Dairy Arts Center’s Grace Gamm Theatre in Boulder on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 10:30 AM for FREE improvised children’s storytelling. Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC) brings professional Colorado improvisers to create hilarious, off-the-cuff stories based on book titles invented by kids in the audience. This interactive theatre experience features veteran performers, including Margarita Archilla, Sheevani Desai, Asa Erlendson, Adrian Holguin, Brian Kusic, Archer Rosenkrantz, Jean Schuman, Mitchell Slevc, and Nanna Thompson, transforming children’s creative ideas into spontaneous theatrical performances. Every show is completely unique. Free craft activity begins at 10:30 AM. First-come, first-served seating for 25-30 audience members. No reservations needed. Pay-what-you-can donations welcome to support the artists. Perfect Sunday morning, Boulder family entertainment at the Dairy Arts Center. Birthday party packages available for $95 plus a suggested $5/attendee donation, including performance, 30-minute improv workshop, and party space.
