National Day of Lobbying for Impeachment

The first #50501 protests were a decentralized rapid response to the anti-democratic and illegal actions of the Trump administration and its plutocratic allies. The idea—50 protests in 50 states on 1 day—was born on r/50501 and spread rapidly on social media. In just days, grassroots organizers—without any budget, centralized structure, or official backing—pulled off over 80 peaceful protests in all 50 states. Since then, the protests have grown over successive days of action: February 17th, March 4th, April 5th, April 19th, May 1st, June 14th, July 4th, July 17th, August 2nd, October 18th, and January 31st, 2026. The movement has mobilized millions of people and brought together a growing network of organizers and organizations, both new and established. Our movement shows the world that the American working class will not sit idly by as plutocrats rip apart their democratic institutions and civil liberties while undermining the rule of law.

We are FLARE. We are an entirely volunteer-powered movement located mere blocks from the Capitol in Washington D.C. Our Resistance Action Center is continuously operating 24/7 to dismantle the 47th President’s fascist regime. As a nonviolent, antifascist collective working toward and beyond the impeachment, conviction and removal of Donald Trump, we fight for liberation everywhere. Citizens’ Impeachment is an organization that connects American citizens with a single goal: to get the U.S. Congress to impeach Donald Trump, convict him, and remove him from power. Citizens’ Impeachment was co-founded by a former senate staffer who worked inside the legislative branch during both impeachments, and Keira Havens, who is a United States Air Force veteran, a former scientist, and a longtime political activist. The volunteers who make up Citizens’ Impeachment represent not only all 50 states but also 100% of congressional districts. Our initial project, Operation Anti-King, made the national press and led to multiple members of Congress publicly supporting impeachment within 48 hours. In addition to empowering citizens, we provide resources and support to the offices on Capitol Hill that are ready to stand up for our democracy and push for the removal of Donald Trump from power. We design every action we take around one question, “How will this move members of the United States Congress to support Donald Trump’s removal from office?”. Our organization works directly with others to ensure a coordinated and laser-focused movement to remove Trump from power.
