CoreSite, a multibillion-dollar company based in Denver, is building a massive three-building data center campus in the Globeville Elyria-Swansea (GES) neighborhoods.
Data centers use immense amounts of our most precious resources to power AI companies like Flock and Palantir. CoreSite’s new data center would use 75 megawatts of electricity per day (more than Denver International Airport and enough to power over 100,000 homes per day) and nearly 1 million gallons of water per day (equivalent to the indoor use of over 19,000 Denver homes per day).
From noise pollution and rising electricity bills to intensive water and energy consumption, all Coloradans face real impacts from the expansion of data centers near their homes.
