Colorado MahlerFest concludes its 2026 festival with a performance of Symphony No. 9 by Gustav Mahler, widely regarded as one of the composer’s most profound and emotionally powerful works. Performed by the Colorado MahlerFest Orchestra and conducted by Kenneth Woods, the program also features Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto with soloist Brinton Smith. The concert takes place at Macky Auditorium and serves as the grand finale of MahlerFest 39.
