Rudest Band in the World Tour
Spiritual Cramp

Punk experimentalist band Spiritual Cramp is bringing their newest album, RUDE, to Marquis in Denver on March 13!

On RUDE, Spiritual Cramp balances their impish cheekiness, emotional vulnerability, and rabid energy. The album marks a new era for the band, one where songwriting duties are expanded across the whole band (previously a role that vocalist Michael Bingham and bassist Michael Fenton helmed). RUDE is also Spiritual Cramp’s first album working with a producer, Grammy-winning John Congleton. “We’re basically a ‘70s punk band inspired by rap, so it was a perfect match,” Bingham said. The resulting album is an espresso shot of energy, blending new wave burn, indie rock swagger, old-school punk, dub, and hip-hop flourishes, and a collaboration with indie legend Sharon Van Etten with “You’ve Got My Number.”
