The Devil Wears Prada will be at Summit on March 28, with Four Year Strong, Split Chain, and I Promised The World as support.
The Devil Wears Prada (TDWP) released their ninth album Flowers this past fall and after letting it bloom on tour overseas (and on the seas during the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise), they’re bringing it to stages across the US.
Throughout TDWP’s 20-year journey as a band, they have always explored life’s extremes in their music, pairing bold themes with crushing heaviness and heart-wrenching melodies. They’ve never shied away from staring down darkness, dealing with depression, making sense of confusion, soothing anxiety, or grappling with faith, existence, and death.
Two decades in, TDWP are continuing to hit new milestones, playing some of the biggest shows of their career (last year’s Summer of Loud amphitheater tour and arenas in Australia) and the single “For You” becoming the band’s first-ever track to chart on both the Mediabase and Billboard Active Rock charts.
As guitarist and clean vocalist Jeremy DePoyster says, “This is us at our peak, in songwriting, in raw and authentic lyricism and introspection, and a desperate attempt to connect with anyone else who feels the same way that we do.”
