Head Automatica

Thursday, June 11, 7:00 p.m.
Head Automatica debuted in 2004, the brainchild of Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw) and Dan the Automator (Gorillaz, Handsome Boy Modeling School). The outfit allowed Daryl, a punk-rooted frontman, to explore his affinity for new wave, garage, and synth-heavy electronics. They toured with The Cure, Gary Numan, Interpol, and others, played the main stages at Coachella, Riot Fest, and Slam Dunk (UK), and collaborated with El-P, Del the Funky Homosapien, and Howard Benson. By 2012, having toured extensively and released two albums, they entered indefinite hiatus. In the interim fifteen years, the group has managed to gain 42+ million streams.
Today, the band is excited to announce a June tour throughout the western United States beginning June 1 in Seattle, before moving on for performances in Portland at Holocene, Sacramento at Goldfield Trading Post, Santa Ana at Constellation Room, Phoenix at Rebel Lounge and Salt Lake City at Urban Lounge, before culminating in a finale at Marquis in Denver, CO on June 11. Tickets go up for pre-sale on April 8 at 9 am PST, and general on sale on Friday, April 10 at 9 am PST.
