She received a bachelor of music in performance and pedagogy from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she studied with Douglas Humpherys and Paul Pollei. Heather then moved to Norman, Okla., where she studied with Jane Magrath and E.L. Lancaster, receiving a master’s of music in performance and pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma in May 1996.
The Heather Hall Piano Studio was opened in 1999 in Highlands Ranch, and moved to Erie in 2005 to become My Piano Prodigy in 2009.
Zach Stailey, Advanced Piano Instructor
Zach grew up in southern New Mexico and has played the piano for more than 20 years. He took over his mom’s piano studio when she retired. He received an associate of music from Arapahoe Community College, and is working toward a bachelor of music at Colorado University in Denver, where he studies both piano and voice. Zach is a member of the Boulder chapter of the Music Teachers National Association, and has been teaching at My Piano Prodigy since August 2009.
