Named one of the top Shakespeare festivals in the United States by Time Magazine, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival produces five plays in repertory each summer in two theaters – the outdoor Mary Rippon Theatre and the indoor University Theatre on campus at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
The 2009 summer season begins with Hamlet, followed by Much Ado About Nothing, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). The summer season runs July 1 – August 15. Colorado Shakespeare Festival is a professional theatre company in-residence at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
