Considering that Huckleberry serves breakfast until 3pm daily, “brunch” can be a seven-day-a-week affair. That means you don’t have to wait until Sunday to tuck into some crab cake benedict (with spot-on house-made hollandaise), salmon scramlett with herb cream cheese or biscuits and gravy (with traditional peppery sausage or a darn good vegetarian version) for an early afternoon delight. The calico comfort atmosphere fits right in with the “funky country” take on food. This could change the way you think about Wednesdays or Tuesdays or Mondays.

Love the breakfast here, as well as the pies. Service can vary but the food has consistently been good. I know it’s supposed to be all about the tea here, but while the tea has not been a main draw for our family, it is one of five favorite East County breakfast places.
