3 Bones for JJ: Celebrating the Birthday of JJ Johnson

Come celebrate the birthday of the great JJ Johnson, known as the Charlie Parker of the trombone. JJ was one of the first to translate the bebop language of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie onto the trombone. Three of Colorado’s first-call trombonists will pay respect to the trombone master with classic and original arrangements.
