About the Superior Khandbari Sister Project:
? In February 2021, the Town of Superior officially voted to establish Khandbari, Nepal as its first Sister City. The sister city relationship between Khandbari, Nepal and Superior, Colorado was established;
? To promote a greater understanding of the different cultures and develop friendship among citizens in both cities.
? To encourage travel between both cities to expand tourism and explore business exchange ideas.
? To develop and support projects in both cities focusing on arts, culture, education and sustainable development and humanitarian assistance.
? To establish a pen-pal program for elementary students of both cities to build friendships and cross-cultural understanding.
