Join us for an immersive class that blends art, history, and tradition to explore the cultural roots of Día de los Muertos through storytelling. Discover the symbolic connection between Monarch butterflies and the spirits of ancestors and learn how to honor loved ones by crafting edible amaranth skulls in a hands-on workshop.
This unique experience is hosted by the Museum of Boulder and Luna Cultura. Learn about the Aztec-Mexica cosmovision, and explore why this season calls us to remember and celebrate our ancestors, and the symbolic meanings that flow through both the holiday and the natural world.
History happens here. The Museum of Boulder showcases inclusive community stories, preserves them for the future, and inspires all of us to effect positive change.
