Andrew Elwood Trio ft. Max Moore & Gabe Rupe at the Muse

Andrew Elwood is a jazz drummer based in the Denver and Chicago areas. He is an alumnus of the Denver School of the Arts, where he studied with Greg Harris, Alejandro Castaño, and Dave Hammond, as well as the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts, where he worked with Paul Romaine, Eric Gunnison, Gabe Mervine, Greg Gisbert, and others. Elwood currently resides in Chicago, pursuing his studies with Dana Hall and Dennis Carroll at DePaul University.

Elwood has performed at a variety of notable venues and festivals, including the Vail Jazz Festival, Telluride Jazz Festival, Dazzle, Andy’s Jazz Club, and The Jazz Showcase. He will debut a piano trio, featuring Max Moore on piano and Gabe Rupe on bass, performing numerous standards and contemporary selections.
