Attitude Adjustment Training: Access and Inclusion for Disabilities in the Arts

Join Boulder County Arts Alliance for this Attitude Adjustment Training presented by Ben Raanan, the Artistic Director for Phamaly Theatre Company.

This workshop is intended to help artists and arts organizations cultivate an attitude towards access and inclusion which affirms both the strengths and needs of those with disabilities. This presentation will –

Introduce principles of an inclusive organization and best practices in accessibility.
Discuss barriers to inclusivity and access (i.e. hidden disabilities, implicit biases and ableism/anti-ableism).
Share about resources and potential collaborators who are elevating disabilities in the arts (i.e. Access Gallery) and what can be learned from their approaches.
