Progressive metal visionaries BTBAM present their most immersive and eclectic record yet—The Blue Nowhere, their first on InsideOutMusic. Mixing uncharted musical detours with their distinctive aggressive identity, the band creates a conceptual world unlike anything in their incredible catalog. Set in a hotel called The Blue Nowhere—a space where no one can find you, hidden from all forms of reality—the album explores moments of solitude and reflection on the human experience. Album opener “Things We Tell Ourselves in the Dark” features INXS, Duran Duran, and Yes-inspired textures filtered through BTBAM’s signature chaos, while 10+ minute opus “Absent Thereafter” delivers quintessential layered, intense, unrelentingly dynamic progressive metal.
