Event Details

Part prog rock, part narrative storytelling, and part Dungeons and Dragons, BIGFOOT METER combines immersive stories with melodies that range from whimsical and introspective to chaotic and intense.

BIGFOOT METER has performed at Muse Performance Space, Larimer Lounge, Globe Hall, and Enigma Bazaar, among others. After several live performances, BIGFOOT METER recorded their debut album, releasing the self-titled work in September of 2022. Their music has been featured on The Progressive Rock Journal, Rock Arte, The Progressive Aspect, The Rational Alchemy Podcast, and DPRP.net (Dutch Progressive Rock Page).

BIGFOOT METER’s songs range from progressive rock to jazz fusion to heavy metal, with most blending elements from multiple genres. Influences range from the symphonic prog of Camel and Wobbler to the eclectic music of Gentle Giant and Mr. Bungle to the doom metal of The Sword. Today, BIGFOOT METER continues to perform throughout Colorado, relentlessly pushing the envelope with new, innovative compositions that blend compelling narrative with intricate and challenging composition.
