Boulder Roots Music Fest, the citywide celebration that turned downtown Boulder’s venues and Pearl Street sidewalks into stages for hundreds of artists in its debut year, will return August 27–30, 2026 — shaping up to be even bigger and bolder than 2025.
The festival will be produced independently for its second year. A founding partner that helped launch the inaugural festival has stepped away, and the festival’s organizing team will carry the event forward — with the same mission, the same home on Pearl Street, and an even more ambitious vision. For festival goers, artists, and venue partners, the experience they love remains fully intact and elevated.
The 2026 lineup will once again pair Colorado’s rising talent with nationally recognized acts across traditional and non-traditional venues — from the Pearl Street bricks to the area’s most distinctive rooms — spanning folk, bluegrass, indie, funk, hip hop, cumbia, blues, electronic, and more. Recent additions itchy-O and Big Head Todd and The Monsters join Cimafunk, Maddy O’Neal, Magoo, and The SteelDrivers, with a full schedule to be announced in the coming weeks.
