Carl Jackson has joined the ranks with several iconic jazz artists such as John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Rufus Reid, Hampton Hawes, Bill Evans, Frank Rosolino, Fred Wesley and many more who all have one thing in common? Service to our country via military bands. Carl has been in the trenches playing Bass writing and arranging music for tours mainly in jazz and ceremonial music.

Carl’s memorable tours were work with the NATO band in Naples Italy, he has played with the who’s who in jazz on both Electric and Double Bass. Carl received the MOVSM Volunteer Service award for leading the “World Stage Billy Higgins Jazz Session” for a season in Los Angeles, CA. His current project “Some Where Along The Way” Is just that, a tremendous musical journey with stops all over the world and most major cities in the United States. Let’s welcome Carl Jackson and Concepts to the stage!
