Join the City of Boulder and Boulder Public Library for a Civic Soup community event celebrating Elevate Boulder Stories on Sunday, February 8, 2026, 12:30-2:00 PM at the Main Library’s Mt. Sanitas Room. Enjoy warm soup and family activities while hearing directly from Elevate Boulder participants in a panel presentation and discussion. Learn about the transformative power of guaranteed income through personal stories from 200 low-income Boulder residents who received direct cash assistance for two years. Discover how this pilot program helped participants afford basic needs like food and rent, improve mental and physical health, advance employment and education, and achieve financial stability. This free community gathering offers a creative, engaging way to understand project impacts while connecting with neighbors. Perfect for families, community advocates, and anyone interested in economic justice and guaranteed income models. Concurrent with the multimedia exhibition featuring participants’ stories in photography, video, audio, and written works (on display Feb 6-March 30).
