Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at IBEW Local 68 as we celebrate workers and Colorado’s labor history. The Colorado Labor Hall of Honor preserves and shares the stories—both well-known and often overlooked—that have shaped the state’s way of life and advanced the fight for fairness.
This year, we will recognize the descendants of the Ludlow Massacre victims; honor the Denver chapter of the Sleeping Car Porters Union for its contributions; and highlight Amelia Milka Sablich, a key organizer in the 1927 Severance strike that culminated in the Columbine Mine Disaster.
We will also recognize the 1973 UFWA lettuce strikers in Center, Colorado; historic organizations including the Denver Area Labor Federation and the Colorado chapter of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists; and local community activists Jeannette Vizguerra and Marge Taniwaki.
