Join us for a Comprehensive Plan Community Open House & Workshops throughout the day and evening on Thursday, November 7 at the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center to share your input on the future growth and development of Louisville!
The Comprehensive Plan is one of the city’s most important guiding documents. The last update was in 2013, and a lot has changed since then! The Comprehensive Plan update is an opportunity for the community — including residents, business owners, workers, elected and appointed officials, and City staff — to take stock of where we are and where we want to be, and to refresh the City’s overall vision, values, and policies.
There are two ways to participate on November 7 at the Recreation & Senior Center:
Three In-Person Workshops: 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. | 1–2:30 p.m. | 3–4:30 p.m.
Kids are welcome!
To participate in one of the Workshops, please arrive on time and plan to stay for approximately 1.5 hours. The workshops will include guided activities, and attendees can expect to be engaged throughout the duration of the session in a small group setting.
Community Open House: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Kids are welcome!
The Open House will include interactive activities where you can weigh in on topics like land use changes at specific locations, future transportation connections, and how Louisville can evolve in a way that honors the community values. If you can’t make it to the open house, stay tuned for more opportunities to engage on these topics in November.
Due to the incredible turnout at the last open house, we chose a bigger space this time. See you in the gym!
