Event Details

El Pueblo History Museum invites you to take part in our annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) commemoration on November 1, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Please join us for performances, face painting, and kid-friendly activities.

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a long-practiced tradition of the indigenous communities of Mexico. Current altars are now a combination of indigenous, Mexican and European traditions. We invite you to visit our ofrenda during museum hours during the month of October to learn more about this tradition and to share stories, poems, photos, newspaper clippings, etc. to be placed on the community altar on November 1, 2025.
