Electric Giz draws in audiences with accessible grooves and contemporary sonic elements.

Their original music combines improvisation, sound design and catchy hooks in an immersive journey through genres. Seemingly simple compositions provide a foundation for the band to share their joy in spontaneous creation. They performed at the 2024 Five Points Jazz Festival and have sold out Dazzle multiple times. As an artist in residence at Dazzle in 2025 they featured special guest Randy Brecker as part of KUVO’s 40th anniversary celebration.

Electric Giz is the brainchild of Greg Gisbert and Mickey Lenny, born out of their collaboration with Maria Schneider on her Grammy winning 2020 album Data Lords.
